Visiting Arts aims to develop international collaboration through providing basic information and key contact details on culture and the arts of individual countries - initially Afghanistan, Cambodia, Egypt, Japan, Laos, Lebanon, Norway, Slovenia, Scotland and Việt Nam.

Sections

Each Cultural Profile incorporates two main sections:

•   Introduction to the country profiled - which aims to provide background information about the country; its history, economy, people, government, language, religion and education system.

•   Culture in the country profiled - which provides authoritative and specialist overviews of the country's main cultural sectors, together with an extensive DIRECTORY listing organisations operating within each sector, paying particular focus on those organisations which focus on, present or promote international work.
